In 2006, a national instructor came to Heart's Desire and taught traditional Russian punchneedle to over 50 students, including Linda Kersting, an employee of Heart's Desire. Linda was a natural, and soon started teaching classes here at Heart's Desire. I've been amazed at the continued growth of this 17th century craft's popularity.

Heart's Desire offers a two hour class, using the store's needles. You will learn how to punch, use gauges, contour and finish you pieces. The class gives you the chance to punch with Iglochkoy needles before buying your own needles. The cost is $20.00; call (316) 681-3369 to sign up.
